Shipping + Returns
If your order is a gift, we can include a handwritten note with the order. Please include what you would like your handwritten not to say in the notes section of your cart when placing the order. We will include the hand written note on Manitou stationary and ship with the order!
Domestic Shipping:
Shipping labels are printed and processed 1-3 *store-open* days prior to orders shipping. Please check Google for our current store-open hours. Orders placed Sunday-Wednesday will be processed the following Thursday. You will receive a shipping notification with tracking information once your order leaves our studio. Tracking is included on all domestic orders and can take up to 24-48 hours to update. Please keep in mind that your order may be shipped in multiple shipments.

- Parcel Select Ground: 2–8 business days (once processed)
- Priority Mail: 1-3 business days ( once processed)
- Priority Mail Express: (1 day once processed)
*Please note that once the package leaves our store and is in the hands of USPS, we cannot make any changes nor can we control anything aside from using the provided tracking code to track the package. Manitou Candle Co. is not responsible for any delay or additional shipping lead times that are caused by USPS. Once a package has been shipped, Manitou Candle Co. cannot refund or cancel the order or shipment.
You will receive a notification if your order is delayed or cancelled. There may be delays due to COVID-19, weather, holidays, and USPS delays that are beyond our control. Manitou Candle Co. is not responsible for any stolen or lost-in-transit packages. Unfortunately, due to the custom, hand-made, and one-of-a-kind nature of many of our items sold, we often cannot replace lost or stolen goods. As always we will try everything we can to make things right and resolve any issues, but please know that when the issue is caused by the carrier, that is completely out of our control.
If an item arrives damaged, please email us at info@manitoucandleco.com within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the damaged item(s) as well as the packaging/box so we have everything needed to file a claim with the carrier.
Local Pickup:
- If you are in Cincinnati, Ohio, you can choose to pick up your online order at our Manitou Candle Co. brick and mortar location during our open business hours. Pick up is free and you will receive an email when the order is ready to be picked up. Please arrive only after you receive the email that your order is ready and only during our store open hours. Please bring your order confirmation when picking up your order.
- Our store is located at 4015 Eastern Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 452262 in the the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood. Free parking is available along Eastern Avenue. There is also a free-parking lot directly across the street from our shop.
International Shipping:
We send most international packages via First Class International Mail, which doesn't include features such as tracking information or delivery confirmation. Shipping times vary depending on location, time of year and local postal service. On average, orders should arrive in 2-4 weeks.
International packages may be subject to customs, duties or other fees that are calculated by country. The customer is responsible for paying any and all customs duties and fees. International packages may be delayed by customs. Unfortunately, we at Manitou Candle Co. do not have control over these circumstances.
Refunds + Returns:
Our refund and return policy guarantees 100% satisfaction. If for some reason you are not 100% satisfied with your order, we accept returns of unlit, unworn, unwashed, unused, undamaged, unopened or defective merchandise purchased on our site in exchange of store credit.- At Manitou Candle Co. all of our Manitou candles are carefully inspected before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used (lit) candles cannot be returned or refunded.
- Any reduced-price items marked "Final Sale" cannot be returned
All returns must be initiated within 14 days from purchase date. Please allow 3-4 business days for us to receive your return, and 7-10 business days for our return department to process your return and issue store credit.
You will receive an online store credit via email. This store credit will be applied to the original email and account your purchase was made on.
- Please make sure your order meets our return criteria and is not a final sale item before you complete your return.
- Include your Order Number (included in your original order confirmation email and printed invoice!) and Reason for Return.
